What is your field of study?
Ph.D. in Communication, focus in organization communication and public relations
What is your favorite class to teach?
I love teaching all my classes. There are two I especially like: Communication Theories and Case Studies in Public Relations
What are you excited about this semester?
Spring Break - This is the first time in my teaching career I have an actual week off during a semester. Also, this is my last semester teaching full time as I plan to retire this summer. In the fall I will come back as a retired, part-time teacher.
What was the last book you read?
All the Light We Cannot See
What was your worst subject in school?
Math, until I got into graduate school, then I learned about statistics and love it
What is your secret talent or hobby?
Cross stitch. Wine tasting.
If you had to make a documentary, what would the subject be?
Living in a red section of a blue state or vice versa.
What do you do for fun and relaxation?
I read a lot of fiction and binge watch Outlander so I can enjoy a connection to my Scottish heritage and see men in kilts.

Follow through with your degree, find your passion, live your dreams.
What did you do over the winter break?
Recovered from hip replacement surgery - physical therapy, reading, and watching favorite television
