Dr. Jackie Kegley, Professor of Philosophy and Director of the Helen Hawk Honors Program, presented a paper entitled “Pragmatism and the ‘Other Kant’: Kant as Public Intellectual and Political Theorist” at a Conference on “Kant and Pragmatism” held at the Finnland Institute and the Collegium Hungaricum in Berlin, Germany Jul 11-July 13, 2017.
United States Universities represented by the speakers at the conference in addition to California State University were New York University, Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis, Temple University, and University of North Carolina, Charlotte. International universities represented included University Roma, Italy; University of Lyon, France; University of Barcelona, Spain; University of Cairo, Egypt; University of Potsdam, Germany; University of Opole, Poland; University of Szeged, Hungary; University of Turku, Finland; University of Molise, Italy; Sapienza University, Rome, Italy; University of Helsinki, Finland; Berlin Forum, Germany.
