Dr. Leo Sakamoto (Music) shared exciting news about the CSUB Concert Band.
"The CSUB Concert Band performed October 11th, at the prestigious Younes and Soraya Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of CSU Northridge in a shared concert with the CSULA Wind Ensemble and CSUN Wind Ensemble. We were invited by Dr. Lawrence Stoffel, esteemed Director of Bands at CSUN, to take part in the 60th anniversary of the CSUN Band Program. Our performance was well-received! I considered this invitation to perform as another form of recognition and validation of the work the Concert Band and students in the Music Program have been doing."
