Here is an example of how generous and amazing our students are at CSUB!
From Erin Barker:
"The Jamison Children's Center is a temporary shelter for Kern County youth. Often the children are in there while their parents/guardians are being investigated for physical and/or sexual abuse. They see about 150 children come and go each year. It is terribly heartbreaking that Jamison is necessary. But, we are so grateful they are there to help our kids.
Yesterday, Phi Sigma Tau - the Philosophy Honors Society at CSUB made a donation of 30 books and 30 stuffed animals to the kids at Jamison.
This would not have been possible without the contribution of funds from the many students, faculty, and staff at CSUB. Thank you so much to all who supported our cause! Special thanks to Rebecca St Croix Martinez, and Dr. Nate Olson for housing the donation box and encouraging others to contribute."
